    These pieces were created for an exhibit about racism; the name of the exhibit was "Colorblind". I wished to express the part of "seeing" that goes deeper. What do we all share? I chose the most fundamental, universal, organic human element and made the anatomical heart the vehicle for my message. The hearts express our common humanity, the desire to love, communicate and and be understood, represented here with heart images and my written thoughts.
